1. ASSUMPTION OF RISK. Participant and/or the undersigned understand that there are many known and unknown dangers and/or risks associated with participation in show activities and hereby grants a general release for the participant and/or the undersigned and any heirs, executors, administrators or assigns and participant and/or undersigned waive, remise, and forever discharge and release Gem County, Gem County Fair Board, the show manager, and any and all elected or appointed officials, administrators, officer, employees, volunteers, agents, insurers and any other individuals or entities affiliated with such persons and/or entities from any and all claims, severable or otherwise, past, present or future which can or may ever be asserted as a result of any injuries or damages, physical or mental, sustained by the participant while participation in the show activities.
2. RELEASE. Participant and/or the undersigned release and discharge Gem County, the Gem County Fair Board, the show manager or designee from any liability of any nature for any property damage or personal injury suffered by the participant and/or undersigned on the Gem County Fairgrounds premises, including personal injury and the loss, injury or destruction of property, animals or livestock from any cause.
3. INDEMNIFICATION. Participant agrees to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless Gem County, the Gem County Fair Board, the show manager or designee and its officers, agents, and employees, from and against any and all claims, losses, actions, or judgments for damages or injury to persons or property arising out of or in connection with the acts and/or performances or activities of the participant, the undersigned, participant’s agents, employees or representatives under this waiver.
